Several times Mass Oyster has drawn ont he expertise and output of Dennis-based Aquaultural Resource Corporation (ARC) for seed or spat on shell. The people there have been wonderful to work with and supportive of our work in oyster restoration.
The organization is undergoing some exciting changes. The first part of which is the sale of a
conservation restriction on our 39.7 acres of property and then a transfer of
approximately 30 acres into the ownership of the Town of Dennis for
conservation purposes. Then the second part of the plan is to completely
rehab our hatchery - demolition and rebuild from the ground up.
